Menopause Nutrition Consultation

As someone is their late 40s I have personal experience of the impact that midlife can have on our overall health and wellbeing. I passionately believe that nutrition can play a key role in supporting women though the perimenopause/menopause transition. I work with clients to develop evidence-based and personalised nutrition plans aimed at addressing their concerns and supporting long-term health. I am passionate about getting the best results for each and every client and my care and dedication is evident from my client feedback

What to Expect from your Consultation

Stage 1: Before your Consultation

After booking your consultation you will be sent a questionnaire which will require you to complete your medical history and record a three-day food diary. The completed questionnaire needs to be returned to me before your consultation. This enables me to build a picture of your health history and consider how I can help you achieve your goals. It also ensures you get more value from our consultation time as much of the analysis is carried out in advance.

Stage 2: First Consultation

The first consultation lasts for fifty minutes. We will discuss your goals, health concerns, and agree a personalised programme that fits in with your lifestyle, budget and dietary preferences. Your full programme will be emailed to you within two working days of our consultation.

The programme will include the following:

  • A personalised nutrition programme.
  • Recipes, shopping lists and sample menu plans.
  • Handouts on your specific health issue (if necessary).
  • A supplement programme (if necessary).
  • Where necessary, a referral for testing to gather more information about your health or nutrient status. 

Stage 3: Follow-up Consultations

I usually recommend you attend a follow-up consultation between four and six weeks after your first consultation. The aim of this consultation is to review progress to date, and to adapt the programme as required. Follow-up consultations usually last between thirty and forty-five minutes. Further consultations may be required depending on your progress. Most clients require two to three consultations over a three-month period.

Single Consultations

  • Initial Consultation: £150
  • Follow-up Consultation: £95

Packages

Because it takes time to form new habits I often work with clients on a six or twelve week programme. Packages include private nutrition consultations (as outlined above). The number of consultations depends on the package you opt for. 

Extensive support is also included throughout the length of your package through a client portal where you can share your meals, track your progress, ask questions and gain ongoing support and feedback.

  • 6 -Week Package (1 initial consultation and 2 follow-up consultations over 6 weeks): £350
  • 12- Week Package (1 initial consultation and 4 follow-up consultations over 12 weeks): £550

Private Insurance

  • A recognised Pru Health provider (provider number PRU3618982).
  • Covered by selected health cash plans such as Health Shield and Westfield Health
